Vintage Serving Platter 1920s Crown Ducal Ware 14” Pat. 72944

Description

Featured here is a vintage 1920s Crown Ducal Ware 14” platter, upon it the Patent Number 72944, Reg. No. 732597. It is most recognized for its orange, blue, and red border, and its floral verge with raised, textured flowers. The center is a nice white to let the food stand out, and the piece is more rectangular than circular, but with an oval center. Really nice old platter. This is a great piece to fill out a set or as a stand-alone.
It is in good condition for being around 100 years old, but does have some crazing throughout, and some paint loss on the orange edge and a couple of flea bites as shown. Looking for a new family to put appetizers on it once again, or a delicious baked chicken :) See pictures for closer detail.
