  • Condition: This model of Buckingham Tree Climbers are in the 1952 Buckingham Catalog (available on line in a pdf) on page 6. They are old, I would not use them to climb poles (or tree's). The leather damaged and shabby as a result of use! They arrived here with a WW2 Burke Body Belt. Both gaff's are bent inward. I was told by my instructor in climbing school in the military in the mid 60's, that the signal corps utility poles were so small they would bend gaff's to make climbing easier.
