    Description

A bracelet charm made from a Small Y-Cut Subway Token (approximately the size of a U.S. dime), that was in use in the Subway System from 1953 to 1970. This is the Subway Token that went into service when the subway fare went from 10 cents to 15 cents. It is an authentic, vintage subway token in excellent condition, installed into a silver plated bezel. This item comes with a 20 inch silver plated chain so that it can also be used as a necklace. A very unique jewelry item that has appeal far beyond the environs of New York City. You can wear it in anticipation of your next trip to the Big Apple or keep it as the souvenir you wish you had brought back from your last trip. An unpolished, uncleaned, and beautifully untampered with "original" condition token that doubles really well as a modern jewelry item.
Every token purchase comes with the informational flyer "New York City Subway Tokens: A Brief History".
U.S. bidders only. Pay Pal only please. I ship USPS within 24 hours of receiving payment with tracking and delivery confirmation.
