    Description

    GERBER U.S.A. SERIAL #B5640S BOOT KNIFE, STRAIGHT WAIST & BLACK LEATHER SHEATH.   This Gerber Knife and Sheath have been used.  The top of the blade has an area about 1-3/4" long of course serrations.  The blade has scratches and pits.  The handle has areas where the black finish has warn off.  The sheath has scratches.  The area of the sheath where the hand guard rest is damaged and someone tried to fix it with what looks like glue and it did not work (see photos).  The metal clip on the back has some of the chrome finish worn away.  The clip also has scratches and nicks.  On the front of the sheath at the lower right there is a broken stitch (see photo).  The snap on the retaining strap snaps firmly closed.   The photos are of the knife and sheath that are being sold please judge them for yourself.  Thank you.
