    Description

    This beautiful old sterling silver cat pin is about 1 1/2" tall and on the back it is marked "A 925"(sterling silver). The pin is sturdy and well made with really good form and attention to detail. You can see the cat is sitting on the moon with his back side to the world. The cat is encrusted with Marcasite and the star is set with a garnet-red stone. There is a patina of age but over all the cat on the moon pin is in excellent original condition. My best guess as to age is ca. 1950s-1960s. Good luck!
